I have the honor if having Annie Seaton on my blog today.  I have been waiting for the right time and this seems to be it!

I love Annie she is a great author and lovely to work with.  Now on to Annie.

Babs….Have you always wanted to be a writer?

I have written stories in my head for as long as I can remember. I had a vivid imagination as a child and used to frighten myself with my made up stories. I wrote my first little book when I was eleven years old.. I’m not sure where it is now.

Then life came along, marriage and children, career and building our family life. When I retired from full time work, I turned to my lifelong dream of writing and it has been wonderful!

Babs…..What would you like your readers to get out of Summer of the Moon Flower?

Summer of the Moon Flower revisits my childhood imagination and transfers my imaginary worlds into descriptive settings. I loved creating the world in the nineteenth century.. and the clothes and the houses and the unusual transport. I hope readers enjoy my imaginary settings.

Babs…..Do you have a current project in the works?

Wow.. do I ever. I am a glutton for writing, now that I have started!

I am currently working on a romantic suspense for Entangled Publishing for their Dead Sexy line

I am working on the third book in the Holiday Affair series called Outback Affair and the middle book , Italian Affair is in edits and will soon be published.

I am also working on a time slip novel called Magic in Music, a sweet contemporary romance called Worth the Wait, a romantic suspense novel set in the tropical islands of Australia.. oh and just a couple more!

Babs…..Do you have a ritual when you are writing?  ie coffee, music, food etc

A walk on the beach before I start work and then coffee. Email check, daily promotion and then head down to work for about six hours.

Babs…..Hobbies outside or writing?

Walking on the beach and I love my garden (pictures attached!)

Babs….What book or books are you currently reading?

The Spanish Billionaire’s Hired Bride by my author friend Rachel Lyndhurst

Babs….If you could be one character from one of your books who would it be?

I would love to be Indigo de Vargas from Winter of the Passion Flower and go back to the past with the advantage of amazing technology!

Winter of the Passion Flower is the prequel to Summer of the Moon Flower and will be re-released on 1st January. I have taken on board the request from readers to extend the story and tell them more about the characters!

Babs…Favorite drink?

A good New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc

Babs…..What is your favorite ice cream?

Babs….What is your favorite food?

Potatoes… cooked any way.. but especially potato crisps!

Babs…Anything else you would like to add?  ( links to any blogs/sites to follow etc)

Come along and check out my blog. It is a diary journal of my writing journey and has an unusual dynamic format. It was recently mentioned as a popular blog with romance readers and writers in an Australian survey!
