My thoughts:

I wanted to read this short story to see how the series got started. Very quick read that gets you interested in wanting to read the other books in this series. Alexander and Elizabeth were great together yes, a little rushed but it all comes together and gets the reader going. I am glad I got to read this and look forward to the other books in the series.
